We are proud to announce that Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is now Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion 91短视频. Where you'll train

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital

, our primary teaching hospital, is home to the area's only Level I trauma center and burn trauma unit and the region's premier heart program. Residents perform diagnostic and interventional examinations using the hospital's multiple MRI machines, including a 3 Tesla machine, a magnet for cardiac MRI, and intraoperative MRI; multidetector CT machines, including two 64-slice Lightspeed GE machines, dual energy CT and a portable CT service for ICUs; angiography suites with a biplane machine for neurointerventional procedures and cone beam CT; PET CT; and multiple imaging and procedural suites.

Maryview Medical Center

 is a 346-bed acute care facility providing a variety of leading edge diagnostic and therapeutic services. High-quality imaging, da Vinci robotic surgery, advanced cardiac care, physical rehabilitation, surgical weight loss, behavioral care and maternity care are some of the services the facility provides. The Radiology Department includes a large compliment of Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology techniques such as CT, MRI, US, Nuclear Medicine and IR procedures.  Our affiliated Harborview and DePaul sites include full Breast Radiology services and PET/CT.

Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters

was for decades the only freestanding children's hospital in Virginia, also part of the Eastern Virginia Medical Campus. With 206 beds, it is the regional pediatric referral center for coastal Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. The hospital, a pediatric Level I trauma center, is home to the area's largest and most advanced neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, as well as the state's only acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. Our residents rotate in pediatric radiology at this hospital, which provides oncology, sports medicine and cardiothoracic surgery services. The radiologic equipment is state-of-the-art.

is the region's largest radiology practice and the voluntary teaching faculty for the Radiology Residency. This large subspecialty private practice group provides a broad range of services in diagnostic imaging, breast imaging, interventional radiology including a busy interventional oncology practice, neuroradiology and neurointerventional radiology, interventional clinics, PET CT and nuclear medicine, musculoskeletal radiology, and pediatric radiology. Additionally faculty are active on medical staff and on boards and committees at each of their hospitals, participate in research and quality assurance practices, participate in a wide range of multidisciplinary tumor boards, and all have active Maintenance of Certification with the ABR.
