Fiscal Year-End Notice
The annual fiscal year-end closeout process will occur Monday, June 30, through Tuesday, July 1, 2025. We appreciate your patience and cooperation since some disruption of normal administrative systems (Banner, LeoOnline, and TouchNet) is expected. DegreeWorks will remain accessible during this time.
The process of closing one fiscal year and starting a new one is critical and complex, and we appreciate your patience as we take these systems offline in order to coordinate with 91¶ÌÊÓƵ financial systems. You must be connected to the ODU network or VPN for this service to function properly.
Banner is the university's centralized academic and administrative records system that allows users to view and work with university data. Access the system through any modern web browser.
Because we value university data, we only grant Banner access to individuals whose jobs require it, and only at a level necessary to perform their job functions.
When you are finished with a Banner session, make sure you properly log out. Logging out of a web-authenticated service is not guaranteed until you properly exit the browser window. To log out, please ensure your browser is 'Closed' (Windows) or 'Quit' (Apple).
