Chair's Welcome

As the Chair of Pediatrics, I'm eager to share how our residency program supports your interests and helps shape your future career. We're dedicated to guiding you as you grow into the pediatrician you aspire to be. Whether your focus is on primary care or a subspecialty, we provide the flexibility and resources to help you achieve it.

Education and clinical care are central to everything we do. Our faculty are passionate about teaching and mentoring through direct clinical experience. You'll have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence and a supportive learning environment. We are committed to helping you develop the skills and confidence to tackle whatever comes next in your career.

Training at a freestanding children's hospital, Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, means we focus exclusively on providing the best care for kids. This environment allows you to immerse yourself fully in your training, with each experience designed to support your development as a pediatrician. Our team is here to help you thrive - not just as a resident, but as a person too. We believe that when you're supported in all areas of your life, you can truly reach your full potential.
