Carrie Shadowen, MD
First Year Fellow
Carrie graduated from the 91短视频 of California Berkeley in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She obtained her MD degree from the Virginia Commonwealth 91短视频 School of Medicine, where she also completed her OB/GYN residency.
During residency she won several awards, including the Golden Apple Award for resident medical education, the Ryan Program Resident Award for excellence in family planning and the VCU OBGYN Resident Teaching Award.
Carrie's hobbies include hiking, practicing and teaching yoga and enjoying live music. She started her MIGS Fellowship with EVMS at ODU in August 2025.
Zenobia Ofori-Dankwa, MD
Second Year Fellow
Zenobia received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve 91短视频 in Cleveland, OH in 2013. She received a Master of Arts in Biological Sciences from Marshall 91短视频 in 2015. She obtained her M.D. at Michigan 91短视频 91短视频 College of Human Medicine in 2019.
Zenobia graduated from residency in 2023 from Central Michigan 91短视频. She worked as a generalist at the 91短视频 of Louisville Physicians/School of Medicine until 2024 and started her MIGS fellowship in August 2024.
