Monarchs Lead

ODU's Leadership Program develops self-sufficient, civically minded leaders who cultivate behaviors and values that allow them to actively reinvent and develop leadership practices to overcome challenges and exhibit social responsibility.

A variety of leadership programs, such as lectures, conferences, and retreats create opportunities for student leaders to explore and implement proven leadership practices. Students engage in learning, reflection, planning, and application of lessons learned to improve their communities. ODU's Leadership Program aims to be accessible to every student, building on the foundation that we all have the capacity to learn and lead. Monarch Leaders embrace a philosophy of leadership that strives to create consistent small changes today and enlist others so that together we can create greater good.
