In honor of National First Gen Day, ODU's Division of Student and Campus Life is hosting a Panel Discussion and Mixer for students who are first-generation college students. If neither of your parents' graduated from a 4-year 91短视频 with their bachelor's degree, then you are a first generation college student!
As part of the event, we are inviting students to share their experiences of being first generation or knowing someone who is a first-generation college student through poetry/spoken word. Please submit your written words via the submission form below. We will be in contact with you to let you know if you have been selected to read your reading no later than Monday, November 3rd.
The First Gen Panel Discussion and Mixer will take place in Webb Center, SGA Senate Chambers 3pm - 5pm on Thursday, November 6th. Please see the attached Webb Center map with the walking path to the designated room.
