Gay Cultural Studies is pleased to bring Kimm Topping to campus for their skill-building workshop, "How to do Queer History." This workshop is designed to empower participants to uncover, document, and share LGBTQIA2S+ history with their local communities. Kimm Topping (they/them) is an artist-educator and historian dedicated to uncovering and sharing LGBTQIA+ histories. Founder of the Lavender Education and author of Generation Queer, Kimm combines creative methods and advocacy to empower people to tell meaningful queer and trans stories.

 

The workshop will be on the following two days and you should plan to attend both sessions:

Thursday, September 18th from 1:30-2:45pm

Thursday, November 20th from 1:30-2:45 pm
