Traveling to the Medical Campus
- Students, faculty and staff must have a current main campus parking permit to qualify for reciprocal parking on the medical campus.
- Students, faculty and staff traveling to the medical campus without a valid main campus parking permit are not eligible for reciprocal parking privileges.
- The ODU main campus includes VBHEC (Ellmer School of Nursing)
If You Have a Valid Main Campus Permit
- You are eligible for free reciprocal parking.
- Passes may be picked up from the Parking office in Visitor Garage A – located at 725 W. Olney Road, Norfolk, VA 23507. The main entrance to Visitor Garage A is on Wagner Road. Passes are only good for that parking garage.
- Passes may be picked up from the Parking office same day, after the car is parked; however, it is recommended that passes are obtained in advance.
- The office is open 7 a.m. – midnight every day.
- Eligible permit holders are allowed 24 passes per fiscal year.
- Individual passes expire at the end of the fiscal year.
If You Do Not Have a Valid Main Campus Permit

Additional Information
- Cashiers in the 2 exit lanes are on site from 7 a.m. – midnight every day.
- Credit cards and cash are accepted; however, cash in small bills is recommended for those without reciprocal parking credentials to expedite departure from the parking garage.
