Parking is available for eligible employees and students at Eastern Virginia Medical Center (EVMC). Please review the information below to understand parking access, requirements, and contacts.
Employee Parking
Employees are eligible to park on the EVMC campus and will have an established parking account on the first day of employment.
Key Information:
- Employees receiveone free parking media. Additional medias maybe be purchased at cost.
- Parking media must be properly affixed to the registered vehicle.
- Parking media (AVI tag, prox card, or transponder bar) is provided as outlined above. Transponder bars always require a fee. Additional or replacement AVI tags or prox cards will incur a fee, except in cases of verified malfunction after proper installation and use.
Student Parking
Key Information:
- Parking is included in fees for matriculated students.
- One parking media is included with student fees.
- Additional parking media are available for purchase at cost.
- Parking media must be properly affixed to the registered vehicle.
- Students who arrive on campus in a vehicle that is not registered or permitted are required to park in the visitor garage and are responsible for all applicable parking fees.
Parking Citations
EVMC Campus Police Parking Citations
- Campus Police and Public Safety officers issue EVMS or City of Norfolk citations.
- Chronic violators are at risk of losing on-campus parking or having their vehicles booted or towed.
- Contact Master's Towing at 757-588-3706. Estimated cost $130.00.
- Violators are responsible for all towing costs, fines and court appearances associated with City of Norfolk citations.
