ODU Nurse Anesthesia College Bowl Team Members Claim Victory

Congratulations to senior nurse anesthesia student, Alyssa Gilman, and her Anesthesia College Bowl team members who claimed victory in the event on September 11, 2017. Each year the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists hosts the Anesthesia College Bowl at its Annual Congress Meeting, this year held in Seattle, Washington. Alyssa's team consisted of students from Old Dominion 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, Wake Forest, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ of North Florida, Oakland 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, 91¶ÌÊÓƵ of Pennsylvania and Michigan 91¶ÌÊÓƵ 91¶ÌÊÓƵ. These competitors successfully won two individual rounds competing against other nurse anesthesia students from programs throughout the United 91¶ÌÊÓƵs, and went on to win the final match against the CRNA Faculty Challenge Team. Our own Dr. Howard Goodwin represented ODU on the CRNA Challenge Team, and Dr. Nathaniel Apatov served as lead judge for the event.
