The ODU Model UN Society's premier on-campus activity, ODU United Nations Day, commemorates the creation of the United Nations in 1945. Co-sponsored by the ODU chapter of UNA-USA, UN Day is your opportunity to learn about simulations, conferences and how the United Nations really works.
ODU's UN Day 2024 was an extraordinary success. Students were registered for over 80 countries, representing Hampton 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, Norfolk 91¶ÌÊÓƵ 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, Old Dominion 91¶ÌÊÓƵ and Regent 91¶ÌÊÓƵ. It was intense and raucous, with weeks of UN debate compressed in a six-hour simulation. Awards went to six participants—newcomers all.
