My name is Luis Silva and I am pursuing a degree in International Affairs and Global Politics at ODU. I am of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent, born in Orlando. As a military dependent I have lived all across the US and gained a passion for public service. With my degree, I am seeking to pursue a career in the Foreign Service, Peace Corps, public policy or international development. It was a no-brainer to join Model UN for hands-on understanding of the conduct of diplomacy. One of my best MUN experiences was staffing ODUMUNC 49. Seeing how passionate and knowledgeable the delegates were gave me hope for they will contribute to the greater world.
