Classes and Training

  • Prior to conducting independent flow experimentation, all Flow Core users are required to attend one training session for instruction by facility staff.
  • Users should read through any supplementary training materials provided in the 'Training resources section' prior to their training.
  • Users are responsible for preparing and providing their own samples, although staff is available to provide technical support in experimental design, sample preparation, and setting up the instrument.
  • Following this instrument-specific training, users should be able to perform flow experiments independently. However, staff is always available to answer questions and provide aid.
  • For more in-depth aid, the Flow Core may charge an additional 'Assisted Acquisition' fee. Please schedule your training session in advance of your needs. Training will be scheduled based on staff availability.
