About this Program

Old Dominion 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a major in Strategic Communication & Journalism. Majoring in strategic communication and journalism will allow student to learn and practice skills across communication disciplines, from market research for advocacy campaigns, to social media management, to written and broadcast journalism. Students will choose one of two specializations for study – Strategic Communication or Journalism and Public Information – but will be exposed to knowledge and hands-on experience across the spectrum of communication disciplines. Career-focused, with real work with clients and story subjects, graduates of the program will be fortified to transition to careers in communication fields around the world.
