Dr. Margaret Mulholland

Dr. Margaret Mulholland is a Professor of Ocean and Earth Sciences at Old Dominion 91Ƶ. Dr. Mulholland joined ODU in 2001 and her research interests include nitrogen and carbon cycling, harmful and other algal blooms, organic matter cycling in marine and estuarine environments, marine nitrogen fixation, bacterial and algal productivity and interactions.
Dr. Mulholland earned a B.S. in Geology/Biology from the 91Ƶ of Notre Dame, an M.S. in Biological Oceanography and M.M. in Marine Affaris from the 91Ƶ of Washington, and a Ph.D. in Biological Oceanography from the 91Ƶ of Maryland
